Question Which speedo and park brake cables with body lift?

Hey All:
I have a 1989 Pickup DLX 2.4 5speed and 4wd, Short bed and standard cab I picked up a few weeks ago. It has a 3" body lift on it.

I need to replace the speedo and front parking brake cables and wanted to know if you suggest using the cables from an extra-cab? I imagine they would be maybe a bit longer?

Any advice is most appreciated!

In my experience a 3" body lift doesn't require either of those parts to be different than what was there from the factory. I can see no potential benefit from using longer ones.

Red face

In fact they E-Brake cable would end up being to long !!

Nothing worse then a cable that is to long .

I found this out the hard way the extended cable was all I had on a long weekend
