Spec Question

I have been looking and searching for an hour. How much past the deck should the pistons come? Yes I did look in the fsm and no luck their. Thanks

search for engnblder's post about deck height and quench on 4x4 wire.good info,thats how i set my 22re up.If your working on a 22r series,that is.

Judging by pictures of the head, the pistons should never come above the deck. Otherwise, they'd hit the head.

and the wiseco pistons they sell are .002" below the deck for a 81-84 22r (listed under celica) and 20r (also under celica). For 22re, they don't spec a deck clearance.
