Thanks to all of you that gave me advice on getting the crank bolt loose. I got it loosened a few minutes ago.

I know ya'll told me to put the truck in 5th, 4hi, lock the hubs and set the E-brake. Today I figured out why I was backing the truck all over the driveway trying to lossen the bolt. My mind was telling my hand "5th gear, 4hi". My hand apparently had other ideas since it was going "1st gear, 4lo". I didn't realize I was doing it until I was locking in the passenger hub...... sometimes I wonder what in the hell has happened to my brains.

Now where did I put my beer?

Pssst, I don't think you need to be in 4HI. I mean, chances are you can't put enough force on the breaker bar to cause the back tires to break loose.
