some time spent $$$$$ on turbo runner mods

87 22rte,i do engine management for living so my truck should have some ecu to tweak,i opt for a more sophisticated but not the more expensive haltech of the line Sprint 500.im the SDS dealer in P.R for like 13 years, also sell haltechs products, but didnt want nothing in the crankshaft that mud and rocks can break a magnet, with the haltech i can do my custom trigger ,firing and injection as i want.you can see on the pics this is totally diferent from you have seen on 22r engine management.works so great most people thinks is a stock truck when cruising or idling.going to dyno next week when the idler arm gets it way on

haltech sprint 500
650cc "thin" inj from Fuel Injector Clinic
running in sequential injection for better fuel eco/emission
ignition is waste spark mitsu4g63 igniter and hyundai coils,
with this ignition spark plug gap is .043 @10 psi plus 50/50 315cc water inj. with no missfire on old plugs
ebay chinese 16g
Aem 30-3000 water injection
walbro 255 FP
full mandrel 3" exh with dynomax ultraflo pipe, super silent
the bad part an a340h ugggh, rebuilt by me"what a pain"
stock distributor modded for a sinc signal so i can run seq. and waste or direct fire.
engine is a stock refreshed but with worn cylinders, dont want to bore cylinders until i blow this engine" if i can",felpro gaskets and stock 200k head bolts, will tune up to 20psi and go down to 15,want to show you can run a stock tired reliable 15 psi engine with proper tuning.you dont need to spend 3k on a engine for 15psi short burst on the trails or crawling, jesusss! i have run a hyundai accent with a stock 1.5l at 26 psi 300hp low 11s in the 1/4 for years and only have made oil changes, some of my dudes blow thiers with 8 psi and 16sec 1/4.this 22 r are a very tough engine,my friend swap a 22rte to a suzuki samurai with stock ecu,use a t4 additional injectors and crank the boost up to 25 psi a never have blown a hg!!! we can do it too!!
