Anybody got any tricks to get the line off the slave cylinder of a tranny behind a 3VZE?

The thing is pressed right up agaiunst the tranny, don't even see how you could get a wrench on there and have any room to turn it.

Not even a slave cylinder is easy on this truck!!

Somebody's gotta have some advice for getting to that hydraulic line on the slave. I know it's been and can be done, just don't see how you get a wrench on the line.

Try a crows foot wrench? Never had to do this before. Ill look at mine when I get home.

I took off the slave on my 1992 3VZE a couple of weeks ago. I used a standard Sears Craftsman wrench (10 mm I think). I reached up from below the connection, sort of, and was able to get enough rotation on each pull so the open end wrench was able to re-engage the fitting. I do recall thinking that a shorter wrench would have been handier.

Try sneaking the wrench up there as far towards the front of the truck as you can. It worked for me.
