Question Should I buy a 1994 Toyota Pickup 4x4 Regular Cab Deluxe V6 SB

Im looking at buying a 1994 regular cab pickup, for 2,000 the body is in great shape and it seemed to run well. but there is 180,000 miles on it.. how much longer do you think it will run with regular up keep?? at how many miles on average do these trucks start to kick the bucket ??

I've got a 4Runner with 176,000, runs fine, but it's had a new transmission.

I paid $3500 for mine, and it's a 90, so I think you're getting a pretty good deal.

Does the owner have any maitenance records? If so, see how well it's been kept up previously. Toyotas run a long time, if properly maintained. If it runs and checks out mechanically sound you'll have many good years with the "new" yota.

welcome to yt.

I bought my 90 extracab with 181,000 on it 3 years ago, now has 220,000. I have replaced the radiator, timing belt and waterpump.

I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

As long as the truck has been taken care of and you don't mind doing some work yourself if it needs it that sounds like a good deal.

Post some pics when you get it!

Do it. Just drive it first, and understand the amount of power it has, and don't expect more.

Great truck though!

I paid $3000 for my '91 4x4 last fall with 176,000 miles and no rust. If that truck is rust free and had good maintenance it sounds like a bargain.
