Shock length?
I have a 94' SAS truck and have 12inch blistens up front. I only have about 3 inches of the shock cylinder exposed when sitting at ride height. Its my dd/wheeler. Im wondering what you guys are running. How much of the cylinder should be exposed for good ride qualitly and some weekend wheeling ?

From my understanding of shocks, its not about how much of the cylinder is exposed, its how close you are to bottoming out the shock or over extending it. You need to take the shock out and measure its fully compressed and extended lengths, and then compress and extend the suspension as far as it will go and measure the distances between the mounts. So long as the shock measurements fall in-between the mount measurements the shock should be good to run.
