shell for an 87 xtra-cab
need some help, I have an 87 xtra-cab with a "Stockton Shell" on it. The shell was made in S. Cal and the company is no longer in business. The boot is leaking and so are the side windows (just a little, rubber drying out).
I can buy a new boot, that a company thinks should work and maybe even replace the side windows, but what I would really like is to just replace the whole shell with a newer one that has front window.
None of the pickup shell places here will test a newer Toyota shell to see if it would fit or not. The length of my pickup bed is 76.5 and the width is about 59 1/4, are there new Toyota pickups with about the same measurement? or has someone put a newer shell on there 2nd pickup? That way I could just get a shell that fits one of them. I know there could be a fit problem with the cab, but I think it shouldn't be too far off.

you're probably better off finding an older shell than buying a new one..
or just fixing yours.
Because they're probably going to charge you an arm and a leg for one that fits such an old truck. Plus it might look weird..
