Woke up to a phone call while sleeping in this morning with someone asking if I was interested in looking at some yota stuff for sale. Didn't really know what I'd come across but I went to check it out and came home with this stuff for $150.

Another '85 SFA complete with useless stock leaf springs and steering components.

Here's my other 85 SFA after an afternoon of cutting and tearing down, oh so much more left to do
I haven't decided yet if I'm gonna keep the new 85 I just got for spare parts or turn around and flip it. I just paid $250 for it a month ago, I wish I ran across this new one earlier.

good deal on the axle but are you positive those are both from '85's?
I just woke up and am out of it but for some reason the factory truss work doesn't look like '85 axles to me...

The one in the grass is too concealed to tell but, the one in his garage looks like it has the '85 factory truss and reinforcements.

Yeah it's an 85. The bottom is fully trussed from the third to the knuckle like the disassembled one. Not sure what exactly those seats are out of, he just pointed to them in his garage at the time and said "those were out of an sr5 I parted out". They're going to go in my 93 pickup. I'm hoping there's holes in the floor for the inside rear bolts on my pickup, I know there's front inside bolt holes in both the bucket and bench seat trucks.

I love those seats they are awesome i have them in my truck all of the adjustments are the best on any stock vehicle i have seen.

Yeah I didn't realize they had all those adjustments until today after getting it mounted and sitting in it. So much for "bolt in". The driver's side took about 10 minutes and went right in. The back inside bolt uses the seatbelt bolt, the front inside bolt hole is there but there's no nut welded in place so you have to use a nut and bolt. No big deal. The passenger side ended up taking all day and a trip to my buddy's to pick up a plasma cutter and welder. The sliders are meant to lock in one place and not be adjustable and are also too short to mount to the holes in the floor. They are also totally different from the bench seat sliders so they are not a direct bolt on. I ended up having to cut the sliders half off on the bucket seat and weld the bench seat sliders on to them. I'll post up some pics tomorrow when it's light out. Now I've gotta clean them again as I've had my dirty hands all over them all day

put the second axle on the rear with hydraulic rams so you can have 4 wheel steering...

just kidding... good find. 91Toyota on here might be looking for a solid axle so maybe hit him up.
