Saggy Ass End
Hey guys this might be a stupid question, but its early in the morning and i had an idea, could i add like a 1 inch or an inch and a half spacer(s) between the body and frame like a body lift, but only on the rear half end of the truck to "MASK" the saggy but, id rather do that than blocks ... would it ride funny ? or fu*k anything up ?? - Also im about to go do some wheeling , i will post some pikturez =P

I think the quick answer would be a big NO to that idea. Throw an extra spring in it or some longer shackels before doing that, wouldn't be any harder to do. I just put a couple of extra springs in mine with longer u bolts. Looks great and rides great.

I wonder what kinda leverage forces them bolts would see if you did that?
You really need to get a tie down for that battery.....
ever seen a battery jump into a radiator fan? It aint pretty.....

Yeah, i figured it wasnt a good idea, as for the battery it is actually really secure if doesnt budge a bit , i will look into a tie down soon just for the non-jerry rigged look =P yeah i had a battery tip into my fan on my old K-5 blazer, it was not a good site and wasnt a cheap one either (129.99 for a new optima and $45 for a new flex fan) i am actually going to go pick up a 14" electric fan today or tomorrow and toss the clutch fan (need as much drag off this lil' 22-RE as i can get)

The white valve is to adjust the idle when you put the air conditioning on, it also controls the idle when the power steering is being used.
If the idle surges up and down with the air on then it is adjusted too high, if it stalls then it is too low. Not a hard one to adjust.
Nice looking truck you have there.

Thanks, when I got the truck the A/C was disconnected and the lines have been cut, and no belt running to the compressor... and its also locked up, im going to replace everything towards the end of this winter and get the ac back up to par... i tell you what though, ive have owned alot of vehicles, i mean alot to be 24 years old ive owned over 30 different trucks/and cars EXCLUDING the 9 bikes ive owned and this has to be the best running/built truck ive owned. I love my lil' Runner just if i could get about 40 more hp/torque out of this 22-RE id really fall in love with it... im going to do a cold air intake/header/flowmaster/and electric fan and delete the clutch fan and see what it feels like.. anyone ever done those mods and can tell me about how much HP those will free up? (sorry for the long post - haha)

that gauage pod.
it looks to me the pod itself is actually for the tilt meter. where it tells how much angle your on and how close you may be to flopping over. but it looks like they re-moved thouse and added in thouse extra gauge's. it makes it look factory.
