running a block lift in the back need advice on leaf spring lifts

so im running a block lift in the back of my 91 ex cab and i want to get some leaf springs that are tall enough to remove the blocks. i believe the lift is 5in if i remember correctly. is there any vehicle i can find in the junk yard that would have springs on it i could put on the truck to accomplish this? or do i have to buy custom built springs? if so what should i get?

thanks
sean

lift blocks

Sorry I can't help you with which springs will fit your application , but, i can however share a personal experience with lift blocks: a few months ago i was pullin a friend out of a small bog when one of my aluminum lift blocks shattered thus releasing the housing from the rear springs and allowing my rear tire to slide up under the truck bed damaging the sheetmetal. I changed to the cast steel blocks and have not had any problems.

All Pro and Marlin Crawler both make good springs.

x2 Sean - it's cheaper in the end to do it right the first time. You weigh your truck, tell them how you use it and what you want the ride height to be, and they make a custom pack just for you.
