Rn1 and VZN1 ?

I was looking over at partsgeek.com for some gaskets for my manual locking hubs, and where it says which models it will fit, it says for body type "RN1 and VZN1"

What are the RN1 and VZN1 model trucks?

This is the part number I was looking at: W0133-1642124

I was looking to begin regreasing my hubs on Sunday and was going to order some gaskets, but got hung up on what these models are.

God, no idea. I assume one is for the solid axle hub, the other for the IFS hub. Just go buy a tub of your fav colour RTV gasket maker and use that. Works fine.

I already have some silicone gasket maker in the glove box. Was going to use it on a leaky water bypass thingy.

I also have some gasket material laying around. So I guess I have many options. I was just curious as to what the RN1 was, as I've never seen the 89 pickup referred to anything other than the 89 toyota pickup.

RN1 and VZN1 relate to the chassis of the truck-
RN1 refers to 4 Cyl (22r/re), 4wd, 89-95 truck, 90-95 4Runner
VZN1 refers to 6 cylinder, 4wd, 89-95 truck, 90-95 4Runner

there are other digits that follow those codes, but those equate out to chassis length, etc (xtra cab, longbed, other body options)

go look just behind the right front wheel on the side of the frame and you'll see the chassis code stamped in the frame.

If that's what the numbers mean, then its the exact same hub, so order either, same thing.
