Rims And Tires Help

I asked this question in the tire and rim section but im not getting any help there, so i will ask it here. I have an 86 4Runner with a solid axle up front, it has 63'' chevy springs in the rear and 5'' trail gear springs in front, i want to run 37'' tires, something like 37 x 12.50 or 10.50-15`s, on steel rims, and i need to know what back spacing i need to go with for clearance and turning radius ?, any help or info is appreciated.

3.5 to 3.75 inches is what you want. Any more and your tires will rub your leaf springs when turning.

Ok, if i go with 37'' tires (37x12.50-15 tires) and steel rims with 3.75 back spacing, will that work on my 4Runner as far as not hitting the springs when i make a full lock turn right or left ?.

It may touch slightly. I have 37x13-15 boggers on 15x9 3.75 and they will slighty rub the metal band that holds the leaves together. I thinks thats just because the lugs on the boggers stick out farther than most tires.
