I have a stock 1991 Toyota pickup and I'm buying new Cooper STT 32x11.5r15 tires. I have a free set of 15x10 rims but I hear that's to wide of a rim to use...but I will use them if it's alright for what I do??...I want rims that will make my tires stick out past my wheel wells!! I don't do any major off-roading and crawling, just trails and some steep hills and such + it's a daily driver. I never air down when I go offroad, I just go for it. I want a 15 inch wheel so 15x8? 15x9? 15x10? And what will make them stick out good?? thanks!

as long as the backspacing is correct, you should be able to use the 15x10. they will definitely make the tire stick out more.

It's not so much the width of the rim but the amount of backspace

Well my girlfriends dad gave me the 15x10 rims and they have super bald 31x10.5 tires on them already which I thought was hilarious....and he ran those so I figured I'd be okay running 11.5 on them if it came to it....how do you measure the backspacing??

test fit one of those wheels with the existing tires on it. the new tires will only be ~.5" wider on the inside edge since they're 1" wider.

Yeah I test fit one on the front passenger side when I got them and it looked pretty sweet. Good stick out. Cleared the brake capiler but very close! If they fit the front I'm sure they should fit the back fine.

back will be fine. 15" will clear brake calipers no problem unless you've upgraded your brakes. it's the UCA clearance that determines backspacing, since the inner sidewall will hit there first. fenders, firewall/pinch weld, bumper etc can all be trimmed/clearanced to fit them at full articulation/steer. if they fit in front they will fit in rear.

I have been using 15x10 wheels since I have owned my 1993 since it was new in 1993. Same brand and size tire as well with no problems other than having to use a steering stabilizer and wore out a pitman arm. BF 32x11.50x15 All Terrain
