Replacing front sway bar end links - 92 pickup
Hi All,
While replacing a CV joint today (I read all the tips on the forum, and it went smoothly, thanks YotaTech!) I noticed one of my front sway bar end links was busted. This was not the first time this has happened.
I was thinking there must be a beefier option out there. I read the forums here, and it seems as if many people recommended the wabfab option? - http://wabfab.3dcartstores.com/End-L...cts_p_753.html
Is that a good option, or should I look at something else? (By the way, the website says 4Runner, but I imagine it has to work for Pickup as well).

i doubt many will still keep that recommendation these days.
personally i would fab my own, but i deleted my swaybar years ago. there are a lot of clever ways people have done it in the past. i think 4crawler has a writeup on several versions of DIY swaybar disconnects. it's a common modification for all 4wd vehicles that are street driven, so lots of info out there even if it's not for a toyota specifically.

Thanks for the replies. Did something happen with wabfab on this site or in general? I noticed the wabfab account on this site was disabled.
I just suggested that particular quick disconnect as it was mentioned a number of times here, and was easy to find online. Most of the quick disconnects I have been able to find online are for jeeps. I actually don't think I've been able to find one for a 92 Toyota Pickup, but I will keep googling away.

glad to see that i'm not the only one to trash the front sway bar. handles so much better, and because the suspension can actually work like it's supposed to i be live it saves from potential roll-overs. only thing you have to get past is your own fear of how it feels to let it move around. anyone whom drives mine falls in love and doesn't want to give it back. they drop off the keys and ask how much i want for it, lol.
