Replaced some parts and still can't get idle right.

I posted a post about this before but since then I've done so many things and nothing has helped.

My problem started out when I would step on the brakes and the engine would surge. Everywhere I looked everyone says to lower your idle (Which I think is kinda crazy that you would have to do that... I wouldn't think you would have to ever lower your idle if everything was working correct) But when I went to lower mine I noticed my screw was already down. My engine now surges all the time; even worse when I step on the brakes.

I checked everywhere for vacuum leaks, set the ignition timing, Cleaned the TB and idle valve, replaced the thermostat and coolant sensor, and just today I replaced the TPS. Nothing has helped it at all. I'm running out of ideas. I feel like maybe there is a vacuum leak somewhere. I just don't know where to look anymore. I have a code (the only code I have) for a TPS but I replaced that today and it didn't help at all.

Note: When I jump the data link it runs a lot smoother and doesn't surge.

If anyone can help it will really help me out a lot. My other car is being painted at the moment and I was counting on my truck for the next couple weeks.

This is a common problem with automatic transmission models. I don't know exactly what the fix is, but it's been covered a dozen or more times in the past. Perhaps someone else will be along shortly & address it more precisely...

Thanks for the reply. I actually have a Manual Trans. I know that a lot of people run into these issues and its all been covered so many times. I've spent hours searching , not just this forum but the whole internet. Im thinking about just getting rid of the truck.
