Removed my Sway Bar Today
Removed my sway bar, took WAY longer than i thought, there was some sawzalling done. Needless to say it's not going back on EVER. I drove around didn't really notice much of a difference. But i took it off road and WOW so much better! Almost floats over the rocks and stuff.

I've always wanted to remove this but from what i've read people were saying the ride is TERRIBLE once you remove it and you can only take turns at 5 mph blah blah blah… so i never did it. I'm glad i removed it now. It doesn't even drive that differently. It had poor handling before and it still does lol.

I still have a sway bar with my straight axle and the truck currently rides horrible. I know it could be a combination of things but do you think the sway bar + warn out bushing and hardware would contribute to ˟˟˟˟ty ride?

theres really no difference in removing the sway bar on a 2nd gen than other vehicles. Your 2nd gen still has a rear sway bar. I have mine off my 4runner and it does great.

I have both off on my 2nd gen. I didnt take them off, one of the P.O.s did, but its not TOO bad. Just need to know how to drive
I've been thinking about getting a rear one because everyone that rides in it complain about the body roll.

you took off your sway bar!!!! your gonna die. just like if you have a body lift, you will die. hahaha
i took mine off a few weeks back. theres no puttin it back on either. teh bolts broke off int he frame rails. i like it better without IMO. and makes it flex a ton better. removin your swaybar makes the goody too sho IFS spread her legs a little better. did you jerk your steering wheel back in forth real hard yet? dont do it fast, but like 15MPH and under. then youll feel the rollage.
