Where and who to get a Remanufactured 3.0 from? Who to stay away from?
It will be going in a 94 4x4. Normal driving, hunting, checking cows and everyday driver.
Any help would be appreciated.

My engine was made by George at Kar King in Ontario California. 45,000 mile and counting. They use engbldr gasket kits.

If at all possible buy local!!

If time permits have your engine built local.

I myself rather like dealing with problems face to face rather then via phone or internet.

Saving a few dollars is fine but not when your shipping a so called warranty failure back across the country to be told installer error

I have been involved in a few of these Horror stories after the fact

Haven't found anyone that is really local so to speak and read some horror stories about some and then read success about some so don't know what to do.
