As reed valve question

Im guessing my reed valve is bad due to the fact it passes air without vacuum.

My question is is there a way to clean it out and get it going again or is it just shot.

Would this condition cause driveable problems

sounds like you've already reviewed the manual

I would be surprised if it created drivability problems, as it is entirely downstream of the exhaust valves. You could try capping the air input (easier to do at the front of the engine than at the valve; follow the piping) to "eliminate" the PAIR regardless of what vacuum does.

What drivability problems are you experiencing?

Bad hesitation when the engine is cold. I'm thinking it's more the Egr, if I kink the vac line the problem seems to go away. I put a new Egr vacuum modular about 9 months ago last time I was having problems with the Egr, but I did use an auto zone one. I'm Thinking I need to check out the Egr system again
