Rear window regulator arm "slider" jimmy rig help
I recently bought an '86 4runner and the back window was giving me trouble from the day i bought it, it would sometimes sit at an angle or not go down, so i took down the tailgate and took off the inspection cover and can see that on the left side where the arm from my regulator makes contact with the channel on the window there is a rivet holding a white piece of plastic that acts as a roller or slider in the window channel, this piece has broken off and the rivet has rusted through. I've been trying to think of ways to jimmy rig it so it will work, but i cant think of where to get a piece that would work for the plastic slider, does anyone have any ideas?

I too have the same problem, I'm going to cut a piece of aluminum stock that fits my roller channel, then use a small flat headed bolt with a lock washer and nut. I'm going to try this today, I'll repost later and tell ya if it works. I'd hit the salvage yard, but they won't sell me just that one piece, just the whole window/regulator assembly.
