Rear upper shock mounting help

Just SAS'ed my 94' yota and am installing the rear lift now. Both 5" TG lift kits (looks super clean BTW).

I want to mount the rear shocks in the stock location (pointing forward and backward) but the upper mounting studs are too big in diameter and the eyes of the bilsteins wont come close to fitting over them.

Does anyone have a quick and easy way to mount them near the stock location? I thought about cutting the mounting studs off and welding a stud or bolt that fits the eye of the new shock. That seems a little cheezy though. Anyone have any recommendations?

Much appreciated!

You should be able to get the right diameter bushings...or just drill out the bushings a little.
