Rear heat/AC installation?
Ok. I posted a WHILE back about a switch I had, and we came to the conclusion it was for rear heat. (and ac)

So, does any one know how hard it would be to actually install the assembly?
AND where to get it?
Yotas aren't easy to find in junk yards. (Wonder why. lol.)
Thanks.

Check for the coolant lines that are supposed to run to the heater (from under the truck). If they are there, it should be easy. Source a rear heater from a junker and have fun..

You have me confused on the A/C. I have A/C, so would naturally assume rear heat, would mean rear A/C....
And where does the rear heat actually run? Like where is the 'duct work'.

Heat and A/C are separate animals on all vehicles. You'll only get rear heat with the 4runner.
It's a separate heater with ducts that mounts behind the console.
Actually I thought all 4runners had rear heat. Maybe it's just the 4WD or SR5.

Rear heater
I have a (two) sets of the rigid lines that go under the vehicle to the rear heater unit as well as the rear heater units themselves and switches. Let me know if you're interested. I pulled them out of both of my 4rs - not much call for them here in Houston.
