Rear defrost wiring hookup 88 4Runner
Hoping someone might be able to help, maybe with a picture. I have an 88 4Runner and the rear window refuses to defrost. Initially when I had the problem I discovered the wires had been broken off. I have tested them and they have 12v coming from them so I know it has power. What I am not sure of is if I have hooked it up properly to channel. This is what I have: (facing the back) On the left side I have like a jumper wire hooked up, one end is screwed into the channel while the other has a connector on it to the side of the channel. On the other side or my right side I have the wires coming in from the relay and have them hooked up this way one is screwed into the front of the channel while the other one is hooked up with a connector on the side of the channel.
Could anyone give me any guidance on this if it is right or wrong, or better yet if someone has a picture they could send me of how theirs is working. Thanks to all in advance.
