Ready to lock it....or am I??

So far, I have 2K saved up for gears (4.88's) and lockers. I have been impatiently waiting and I'm not sure how much longer I can wait.
What I reeeeeally want are selectable lockers. That would take me a lot longer to save up for and once again....I'm getting very impatient.
As of now, I can get my 4.88's and Trutrac's on my rear and call it good or I can continue to save up for however long that may take.
I need some opinions thrown at me.
What does everyone think of Trutrac's?
Should I only lock my rears?
Should I wait and get selectable's?

Any advice/opinions will be helpful.

in my opinion i d just go with a real locker Detroit or lockrite unless all you do is drive it on the street. then i d say save your money and do a supra swap and go really fast.

I think a rear auto locker and a front selectable locker is the ideal set up for the North West providing you stick to a tire thats decent in the rain in snow.

LOL that's awesome. Yeah pretty much.

I wish Aussie would get their act together with the V6 locker as I want 4.88s.

It's my DD. I take it out on occassion. I would take it out more, but I can't very well drive the wife's car if I bust something on it. I am slowly upgrading everything I can so that I can take it out more often. In the future I plan on buying a 4runner and once that happens, I'll be hitting the trails as often as I can and better prepaired for what may or may not happen.
My buddy has Detroit's, but he says that if he were to ever do it over again, he would save up for selectable. He's used to it now, but the hopping and skipping around corners is a bit annoying.
I do a lot of in-town driving and use my wife's Honda whenever we go out of town.
Aren't Truetrac's supposed to built like brick-house?
I'm still undecided.

A limited slip would be little more "polite" on the road, but kind much less useful off road. Read the Aussie Locker review (link in my sig. line) because i wrote it to give people an idea of what driving an auto locker was like chiefly around town. I have found it easy to adapt my driving to make my locker near invisible on road.

I've noticed on occasion mine will unlock at a stoplight and lock up at 30mph, talk about fun! Also if I slam the gas in reverse and spin the truck around it bangs like a motha effa, and If I slide around a corner its loud, I drive like crap though, I'm sure if I drove like a sane person I'd never notice it, other then when I'm at the bank under the awning I can hear it clicking, sounds cool.

Limited Slip-If your a wuss
Air/Elec Lock-If your a wuss
Auto Locker's are for real men...
