Radio No Worky
So, after the accident i only had a few issues to fix. I fixed EVERYTHING, all the core support stuff, fenders, etc etc. The wires got cut on the pass. side corner light/blinker so i fixed that.
I blew the fuse for the hazards/blinkers/horn and fixed that so i don't think that has ANYTHING to do with my radio.
I can't seem to get my radio to turn on. Everything else works, just no flippin radio. I tried the stock radio, too.. (But the wiring on that thing is so confusing idk if i even hooked it up right).
So, what could i be? I know the radio doesnt have a fuse. and i checked the fuse on the back of it..

will it light up or is it totally dead? try checking the ground and hot wires ,if it was hooked to the battery it may have came loose. if it lights up check antenna plug move it around.i had a 86 that would not pick up if the ant. plug was pushed all the way in. also check the wire plug on the back of the radio.

I'd just take it out...I have a thread on making it a storage compartment some where...I used an old VCR top.

is it just the radio that's not working?
lol, I'd just run a new power wire
is it an aftermarket head unit? pull the unit out and check the in-line fuse on the main power fead (at least is SHOULD have a fuse there ). some stereo's have a fuse in the back of them too

Did you replace the blown horn fuse? When I installed my CD deck, I had the same problem: no power on radio power wire. It took me a few weeks, but I eventually realized my horn wasn't working, and I found the horn fuse blown. I replaced that, and to surprise, the radio wire had power! I assumed it was a wiring gremlin unique to my truck, but maybe they're all like that.
