Progressively often stalls during startup...
Some background:
1995 4Runner 3.0L 4x4
New or recently replaced with refurbished parts: Fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, igniter, coil, spark plugs, vane air flow sensor, radiator.
Problem:
Fires up, then idle lowers until stall. When cranked with accelerator depressed, it rev's up high then comes down into a stall (even with the accelerator still pushed). This happened more and more over time. A month ago it would have these start up problems but would eventually start and drove normally for as long as it was running. Now it won't start for more than a few seconds before stalling out.
Potential culprits? What would override the accelerator like that? Vacuum seems tight(ish), fuel system is good, spark voltage drop out somehow? Why the initial rev up and then straight into stall?
I'm pretty new to self-mechanic action so layman terms if you can - any help is greatly appreciated and I will certainly try anything laid out before me.
Thanks in advance!
