Question power steering leak (repair-replace)

So, I'm almost to the point of pulling my engine out to rebuild it. As I was taking stuff apart under the hood I made notes on what will need to be replaced (radiator, hoses, belts). The right side of the engine (3.0L) was especially dirty from the P/S pump leaking.

Should I buy a seal kit, a new/rebuilt pump from the dealer or a rebuilt pump from NAPA?

Thanks.

I would just buy a used, dry pump and slap it in.

Rebuilding your old pump is going to be the cheapest fix. Helps to have an FSM.

I was going to rebuild mine, but I found a used one with no leaks for 40 bucks. I would try and find a used one.

Rebuild is easy. Use the OEM kit from the dealer (about $40).

Replaced mine w/ a reman'd unit from Autozone. "New" one started leaking at the double copper gasket fitting within a few months. I'm not sure if its a faulty part or intaller error. I think w/ the core exhanged it was about 50 bucks.

When I get the bearings/gasket set I'll get a price on the P/S seal kit.
