-very bad gas milage
-and when i hit the brake real hard im all over the road

Sounds like a vaccumn leak from or around the brake booster. Try searching around the forum for a bit this is pretty common and many threads cover these symptoms. 22re's are a bit finicky when leaks in the vaccumn systom occur. by the way welcome. post some pics!

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...hlight=seafoam read this and try it, it should help out your engine and then go from there on figuring it out after you try it. Might check all of your bushings and make sure there is no slack in the front end parts. WElcome to youtatech and hope this helps you

blown diaphram in the brake booster maybe? plug up the brake booster line and see how the engine runs. (yes you will loose power brake) But they aren't working right anyway.

What do you mean by "All over the road"

I doubt the wandering is related to the power problem. Can someone confirm if the load sensing valve in the back would cause a wander? My guess is no, but I thought I would throw that out there. I would definately plug the vac line to the brake booster though, but block it off from the manifold side not the booster side. If problem goes away as far as power then hook the manifold side back up and block it off the the brake booster side. If problem returns, then the hose or the connection to the booster is bad, if problem is still resolved then the diapham in the booster is bad. In rare cases the check valve on hose to the booster will lock shut or is put in backwards as well. This will prevent vacuum supply to the booster. I can't remember if the toyotas have it or not, its 12 degrees outside and I don't wanna go check lol.

I had a set of 38.5's do that to me, but they were wore and I think it quit doing it when I changed tires. Cant remember exactly what it was.

Timing or knock sensor would be my first bet.

Are you getting any codes? I would unplug the sensor and drive it a bit. If it acts the same there is a good chance its the sensor. Don't know if there is an actual test.

A bearing usually makes a knock, a ping is usually pre ignition (advanced timing) or possibly slack in the valve train. Sounding lower I would think timing needs to be retarded a bit
