Where I slid off the road a couple weeks ago. It was icey and I had never driven on ice before. Steering is a little sloppy and I hit the packed snow and ice in the middle of the lane as I was shifting gears. Lost traction and I was a goner.

It's not as noticeable an improvement in the pictures as it is in person but you can kinda tell if you look at the fender in relation to the tire.

my 1st Toyota Ever~~1989 4runner

so, I'm new to Toyota, always been driving Jeeps but my hubby finally dragged me to the dark side...LOL

We picked up this sweet 4runner yesterday, did a 7 hrs round trip to go get it.
it has 198,xxx on it and runs great. got some rust spots and needs some TLC inside, my finger went thru the ceiling light last night
and the kit around the shifter needs to be changed too...
little things here and there but I'm already liking it a lot and might make my stay on "the dark side" a permanent one!! LOL

He is picking up another 1989 yota PU truck this week, so we will both be driving one (this will be his #6 and #7 Toyota trucks)

so here's mine:
(pics taken in front of our Gun Shop & Bail Bonds business...just so nobody think we were in trouble..LOL)

quick question...where is the best online place to look up stuff for my truck?

Welcome to Yotatech, KS!

Wow, good find, it looks pretty clean, and hopefully will run for a couple hundred thousand for ya without many issues! However, if ya have any problems, ...hubby will probably tell ya, ..."You're in the right place for dealing with that!" hahaha.

Get pics up of his 89 when he gets it! I had a CHERRY red one, ....miss it! lol.

PS> Where is that(what state/or are you actually in CAN?), so if I need bail.....and a Sig227, I can call? hahaha, jk. OOOOH, I see a Sonic, no? hahaha.... Now I'm hungry! lol

Welcome to the right side!!! Glad to see you came over.

I really like the striping...I have not seen those decals before.

As for parts, depends on what you need.

Here are some pics of my brothers 93 Toyota Pickup Ext. Cab V6. (The truck is still a work in progress, he is planning on changing the rims, tint, and seats.) This is some mountain pass near Provo Utah.

thanks for the links!!

I'm not sure if I'm digging the striping yet...
I think It would be a total bada@@ bail bonds machine if it was yellow with some rhino liner on the lower body

but the hubby is all over it, loves the original 'yota color scheme, he is pretty proud of himself for finding that truck!! LOL

what sold me to it was the removable top...will remind me of my Wrangler!:
(I need some time to give up referring to Jeeps, sorry, that's a 15 yrs+ habit we're talking about...LOL)

I need to find more interior goodies ATM

Yeah it was in my truck. The water was almost up to my floorboard. I probably could have backed out, but there was a huge GMC dually (which had been tailgating me by the way) behind me and he already had a chain out.

I checked everything out and couldn't find any damage, luckily.
