Please Help Bad Idle

I have an 86 pickup 4x4 22re efi. I just bought the truck and the 3rd cylinder was not hitting. I figured out the injector was bad. I sent my injectors to rc engineering to be cleaned. I took off the upper intake and cleaned it. I got the injectors back and put everything back together. Upon starting no missing cylinder but the truck was idling up and down. When i pressed the throttle it made it worse and was stalling. I tried adjusting the tps but no luck. I also tried the idle screw on the throttle body. I got the up and down idling to stop but when i pressed gas it would start again. I tried adjusting a few times and fuel started coming out of my fuel filter which i also replaced prior to that happening. Had blue smoke coming from exhaust. I may have messed the tps adjustment in the process???? I did take the tps off when i removed the intake to get to the injectors. Please any ideas?????? Also guy i bought it from said motor had been rebuilt about 4 years ago. Motor has a lot of oil around where the 4th cylinder is FYI. Exhaust manifold seems to be leaking pretty bad too.

i had this happen last night and it turned out i forgot to plug a hose back into the auxiliary air thing under the throttle body. Edit- the stalling and smoke part anyway and because im a newb i hooked the tps up wrong (the two prong things on the tps i set on the wrong side of their counter parts on the throttle body) so it was really running funky... also make sure if you took the afm off you plugged it back in ha man i make a ton of mistakes

when i hooked my tps up wrong and I started my truck it was like someone had the gas floored it was racing. when I forgot to hook up the hose it was stalling and acting crazy. both times there was smoke. i had double checked as well both times. the guy i bought my rig from said the engine had been rebuilt "a few years ago" I think he was full of @#$% now. I hope someone with some knowledge can help you out

the hose that runs from the auxiliary air valve to the bottom of the throttle body. forget about the circle and arrow in this picture... the hose plugged into the gold tube. it was out of sight when i put the throttle body on so i didn't notice it wasn't hooked up. im still working on my tps issue (cel code 51)

Holy newb tech...try searching around and reading through the stickies. The information you need is all over this website and others. Great search tool for Toyota sites:

http://www.nwtoys.com/google/

And no, not all codes illuminate the check engine light. First you need to confirm your TPS is adjusted properly and test the auxiliary air valve/idle air control valve (same thing). Link to factory service manuals is in my signature...you'll find the testing procedures there.

Welcome to YT.
