Which ever one you can go pick up the Engine in person !!!
Nothing worse then having your engine tied up with a freight damage claim
Every builder has a bad day once in a while my luck it would happen to me .
Maybe your luck is much better then mine
I have bought things From Dave in the past never an Engine being @ 3000 miles away

Just make sure you have all the warranty details in writing not just verbal.
It gets very expensive shipping a engine back and forth across the country on your nickle .
When this does show up make sure to look it over very close for shipping damage before you sign the freight bill .
Once you sign you bought it .
We have one person who just repairs shipping damage claims
Best of luck

Where do you live? There are a lot of regional rebuilders. Even Autozone offers rebuilt motors.

This is where I bought my Stage-2 22R (carburetor engine) from. No issues with it. But in my case I'm 2-hours away from him. And it was a looong wait for the engine.
I will say this though, I had to sell my Toyota because of it being a single cab. I bought a fixer-upper 1991 Mazda B2600i (G6 EFI engine) extra-cab. The Mazda had significantly more power than the Stage-2 engine. I realize comparing a 2.4L carburetor to a 2.6L EFI is not fair. But that Mazda engine was nice. Mazda designed the truck ugly but the engine was great.
