Pinging

Pinging
I have a 94 4X4 with a 22RE. Last year my stock timing chain guide broke and of course the chain wore that inevitable hole. I replaced the water pump, oil pump timing chain, gears and all new gaskets. I now have a steel chain guide.
Now just all of a sudden I am starting to ping only after a while of driving. I drive to work 60 miles each way. And about 20 miles in starts to sputter and detonate. I first tried to change the cap, rotor, plugs, wires and cleaned the MAFS with a special cleaner for it. That did not work, actually it got a little better the next day to work. But on the way home it got was worse than before. So I changed out the MAFS last night and on my way to work this morning it was worse than ever.
I have timed it using the jumper and it is dead nuts at 5 degrees.
Any thoughts?

So I replaced the TPS with a known good one. Seemed to stumble without being warmed up. I pulled the EGR yesterday morning and inspected it. Looked ok, blew in it a few and put a vacuum on it the valve seemed to be working ok.
So while driving in this morning had zero symptoms....Strange.
