possibly the fan clutch
it is in fact the fan clutch's job to move air through the radiator when at a stop
is it locking up like it suppose to when it starts warming up?

i agree with bleeder, mine went out a couple weeks ago, the temp would creep up when idling and climbing large hills. i tried 2 used ones and ended up buying one for around $43.oo at autozone. you might blow out the radiator and check the fan belt but it sounds like clutch.
