overhaul with annoying vibration/ fast clicking sound
Hey guys, have an single cab short bed 87 4x4 that I just did a SAS on.
Had fully built front axle with a Detroit. I did the f150 leaf swap which ended up moving my rear axle an inch forward. I noticed I have a slight vibration because of it and in 4th gear it'll vibrate intermittently when I'm lugging it till I pick up speed then it'll go away. It raised the rear 4-5in or so but the drivehshaft is only sticking out 1\2in more then stock. I! Guessing my angle is do much...
But I just put the trail gear long slip front driveshaft and I have a HORRIFIC grinding\ fast clicking sound that I feel in the whole truck when accelerating hard or coasting. Its never done it before with the ifs so I do not know why it's doing it now. If I unlock the hubs it still does it. It goes away when in 2wd. Only in 4wd it does it. Could my tcase be messed up all of a sudden or ???
