Does anyone know what the original OEM windshield color was on our trucks?

The windshield i had taken out was bronze i believe, but it wasnt original, and does not match the rest of my glass. I cant really tell for sure but my other glass seems to be blue or green tint. Looking up through toyota parts, I see bronze, clear and shaded as factory options.. Does it make sense to have a different colored windshield than the rest of the glass?

My memory says Green
Bronze was more common on the Gen2 4Runners, especially if they had the green paint / brown interior

I can't speak to OEM, but unless you're a real fashion plate I'd stick with Clear. When you're as old as ewong, you need to be able to see at night.

The tint was at the top of the windshield

You BAKE in the sun when driving if you get untinted

I had an untinted one for a bit
I was so glad when that one finally cracked!
