Ordered an Aussie Locker

I just placed a order for a locker for my 8" 2 pinion rear diff. Props to Bill Cole at Aussie Locker. I'm in Canada and thus its a little more difficult with the current website as it is affiliated with an American postal service, thus our postal codes (Canadian zip codes) don't work on the web order form.

Bill called me within a couple hours of my email and saw the order through. The lockers are backordered right now, but a shipment is arriving next week and I might see my locker as soon as 2 weeks from now. Pretty good for international post.

I'll write up on the performance as soon as I get it in. I think I will also post some videos of ON road performance so some people get rid themselves of the notion that all lunchbox lockers are terrible.

Thanks again to Jay351 for letting me test his Lock Right.

Matt

just having installed a lockright last week I can say the on road negatives are so minimal I would never run without it again. Within the month I'll be putting one in the front as well

$37 to Vancouver. Vancouver is close to the US boarder so its not too long or expensive by dog sled mail either.

Nah, its the BJ spacers that cause your rig to explode in an enthusiastic ball of fire, then simultaneously roll over and rust...or maybe that's the non-OEM windshield wipers, I can't remember.

There is no Aussie locker for a V6 yet. If i remember correctly, there is only one way to build a locker that will fit inside a 4 pinion V6 differential carrier. Lock Right is duking it out with Detroit for the patent and I guess Aussie can't manufacture and sell one with the patent situation as is. I am pretty sure they've developed one a long time ago, but don't quote me on that.

I just gave them the credit card info. Bill Cole, the guy in charge at Aussie charged me $249.99 USD + $37 USD S&H. I tried paying in beaver pelts, errr ..Canadian money, but he only took USD. Works for me with the dollar at near parity.

They told me at aussie that they will be around sometime this month.

"They are in production and we feel we will see them on a flight to the USA the first week in March. We just have to wait until the factory lets us know that they boxed and ready to ship. They never notify us until they are at that stage in the process as that gives them an exact count."

Quote through email from aussie.

Yep going to install it myself, should be fun.

I spoke with Bill Cole today. He said the lockers are coming in next week. They had more lockers than people on the waiting list so if you wanted one, now would be a good time.
