Old man emu rear coils????
I have a 92 4runner. I want to get some new rear coils to tighten up the highway ride around corners and to get rid of a lot of bouncing/shaking when offroading. I was told to look into OME Medium load 4rnr coils. Supposably they give u another 40mm of lift. Does anyone have any experience with these or know anything about them? I would like to raise the back another inch or so but I dont want it to be like slanting akwardly foward. I would like to keep the front at stock height. Also, would I be able to keep the shocks im using with my stock coils or would I need newer, longer ones??? Please help! Thanks.

i have OME900 coils in teh back of my 90 4runner... i really like them... i have newish toyota shocks in my truck, not a lift shock... but i did crank my torsion bar adjusters 3 full turns to bring them up to level my truck after i installed the springs... i have no drivetrain issues or noise so far... hope that helps

I love OME, but if you want similar performance/lift at a cheaper price, try Performance Products 1" lift Progressive Coil Springs. Mine have worked amazingly for over 30,000km's and still have the same lift, even after a really heavy load of tiles.

I used the medium duty OME springs with their Nitrocharger shocks. Height is balanced from front to rear and the ride is great, loaded or not. I quite like them.

Thanks guys that helps alot. So im guessing the general opinion is that the 1.5" will be too much without cranking the torsion bars and I should shoot more towards a 1" lift?
