That pesky gasket isn't a gasket. I just a simple neopream (sp) o-ring. Pick it up at any FLAPS (Favorite Local Auto Parts Store).

Got my FelPro Head Set today. The kit did NOT have the o-ring or gasket for that heater pipe connection. I'm wondering why they left it out.

You can also get it at the dealer. Mine cost like three bucks. Ridiculous, but peace of mind....

Mikesta,

It looks like you're a professional mechanic with the cranes and tools, etc. Is this just a hobby of yours or you do it for a living ?

I'm really enjoying the videos. I'm finding them very informative and helpful.

It didn't come with my Toyota Kit either... wait maybe it did..... Is it a thick black gasket.... I was wondering where that went. Did your Felpro kit come with the oil pump cover seal? My grind kit didn't... odd....

Do you know what the toyota part number is for it? I might have it, but if I don't would really like to keep it yota!

Thanks, Not a professional mechanic, but I've been around the block. Still have lots and lots to learn. Its just a fun hobby that keeps me out of the bars "and cost less"!

Little update - I pulled a ligament in my right elbow.... don't know how I did it so I haven't had any strength to even turn a bolt/nut by hand.... working back up to it... HOPE - key word.... to have this rv buttoned up and for sale by next weekend. My 2 year old (that you've seen in some of the video) also just had his appendix out last Friday .... I know right? Poor little guy bounced right back though!

I'll get some more film going an up here to finish it up!

Its all pretty much together, oil and antifreeze added. Now just trying to figure out why there is no starter. I have one cable up on top in the harness that I'm trying to figure out where it goes... then we should be in business. Anyone know where this attaches to?
