This is the passenger side, does this not look right?

Thats def bad. You need to replace your idler arm ASAP.

i wouldent say asap, i would say before you drive the vehicula even 1 more time, that is an accident waiting to happen

Holy schmidt! That thing is shot! After you replace it, get your alignment checked. You might also wanna check your tie rod ends and see if any of those are bad.

Had any accelerated tire wear issues, lately?

i haven't had any abnormal tire wear, So to fix this problem i would need to replace my idler arm and have it aligned?

YES! Replace the idler arm asap, looks like the stud is gonna pull right out of the arm.

It already has! All it would take is just enough droop on that side to totally displace it. Eeeek! is right!

X2. How much lift do you have? If I understand correctly a lot of lift with IFS can cause Idler arms to fail often. Once you get a replacement, I think you can beef it up by getting a brass bushing set, though they often have to be machined once you get them to fit right. TC knows more about this than me so maybe he'll chime in.

I totally agree, replace ASAP. As for the recall, its only 89-95. His looks to be pre 89

Looks exactly like mine did! At the time i had no lift at all. I found mine when doing a routine check and had no idea how long it had been like that before I noticed...probably 2-3 weeks? thankfully I had a spare and replaced it that night.

I agree with Chuckracer, replace and no need for alignment.
