I've tried all kinds of fancy expensive plugs and none of them worked as well as the old, cheap factory spec Densos when clean and properly gapped. Denso wires likewise work better than aftermarket.
You will likely not do better than all stock denso on your ignition - it was one of the best engineered aspects of these engines. All the parts were designed to work together and they do, well.

I've used Stock Denso, NGK, Iridium....can't say I noticed ANY difference with any of them. The Iridiums will SUPPOSEDLY last longer. I'll let you know in another 100,000 miles... :-)
