I need to replace my non-stock rear step bumper that is somewhat beatup from the PO. Has anybody tried installing a rear bumper from newer trucks? this is for a '84-88 pickup. Just curious if there are other options out there, as there are more readily available aftermarket options for '89-95 body style.
Are you looking for a stock 1989-1995 style bumper??
If so, I have found a few examples that show the newer style bumper on the older trucks.
I am not sure if they are a direct bolt on. If not, I bet the fitment is very close. I would think other types of bumpers would have pretty close fitment as well.
