newbie question 92 4runner please advise

i have searched but found conflicting info what warn part numbers do i need to put manual hubs and do i need the conversion kit i have read about? Thanks guys and by the way 92 4runner 4x4 automatic 3.slow

Don't use warn hubs.

Contact your local friendly Wabfab, and he can sell you the manual locking hubs. You do not need any sort of special conversion kit.

I believe with the warns, you do need a kit. Find a set of factory Aisin's, and install those. Direct fit, no kits or anything needed, other than a couple of gaskets each side, and should take you 'bout half an hour. Thats what I'll be doing to my '91 here in the next couple of days, when I get home.

Or send DeathCougar a PM, he's amember here who works at Nix99, a Toyota/Lexus wrecking yard.

deathcougar can you find me some aisin hubs? if not who are where should i look?

go with the factory aisin hubs...cheaper, easier to find, and pretty reliable.
