New TOY...ota
The newest addition to our family... it's been sitting in the weeds for over a year. The guy swamped it, hydraulic locked and threw a rod through the oilpan. The price started at $1200 when I first asked about it a year ago... yesterday it was $600 and since I had some extra cash on hand I bought it.
Needs a new motor obviously and the carpet needs to be removed and cleaned but otherwise it's not too bad. It's a straight '91, it's got the 22re, 5speed, manual windows n locks, no frills. The major bummer is the motor in it was new until he tried to go amphibious w/it. There was about 2" of water in the cab so hopefully nothing electrical got wet. I put a battery in it and everything works so hopefully this one won't bleed my wallet dry like my other one.
And as soon as I get the 5 y.o. from next door to show me how to upload pics from my smartphone i'll post a few.

I know... I'm such a looozer.
I just went from an old flip phone to a Galaxy SIII, a bit of a learning curve and I wasn't that tech savvy to begin with.
I posted before I realized i'm dumber than my phone...

Finally the 5 y.o. hooked me up. About the worst pic i've ever seen though
$1050 for a new engine w/2 yr. warranty, and I discovered some jackhole cut the damn exhaust out so i'm going w/a header and intake along w/new pipe and muff.

I'm hoping so, the last T4R cost me a pretty penny to fix up and it still needs a few more things. I'm hoping I can get away w/a new motor and exhaust.
Supposedly the PO took really good care of it mechanically so i'm hoping it doesn't need any other major work.

Go to the little icon that says "play store" type in photobucket..download and install. Create an account and you can post the IMG links into the thread to show a big picture.

Installed the app, now there's another update I need that it wouldn't install. How much time before it starts getting easier? I'll figure it out soon enough *LOL*. So as it stands i'm going to be $1650 + Header and exhaust, fluids, hoses, belts, gaskets, and who knows what else... here we go again.
