Definitely interested. Any idea of price range, is a y-pipe included, O2 sensor mount in the y-pipe, y-pipe at least 2-1/4" where it meets the cat hopefully. Cool, keep us up to date.

fnrunner,
Count me in! I'm DEFINATELY interested. I'd prefer a bare set (no chrome, no paint, no ceramic)...but, I'll take whatever they have. Also, like some others have asked....do they come with a Y-pipe? What's the tube sizes on these? And will they be CARB certified?
Thanks,
Phil

Wow!! This is great news!! I am VERY into getting a set of these, NWOR has NEVER been an option - - and while Downey has been good to deal with -- I have just held off on getting headers from them so far.
Carb/Smog legal!! Ceramic would be awesome - - I hope that the fit may be a little better than Downey's - I am fine with a body lift - - but not one would be cool too.
Can anyone get on Thorely's website? He may not have anything posted there yet - - but I just wanted to check it out.

They will be CARB/SMOG legal & should have EGR & O2 hook up.
Their other headers (like 20R/22R- p/n THY-555Y) are available with chrome or ceramic so I'm guessing these will be too.
They are using Downey's system as a guide as they own the Downey line now. & will make improvements as required. I will ask about the "y" pipe & how it will be routed - from what I've seen the NWOR "y" pipe seems to be the best since it crosses after the t-case. Correct me if I'm wrong though!!
They already offer a cat-back system for the 3.0.

i'd like to see their HP numbers...
my downey headers didnt do jack.
okay, granted i had them installed same time i did a tranny swap and a marlin dual cases installed... but still..
if the numbers say 20+ HP increase (over stock POC crossover, heavy metal exhaust manifold), i'd gladly dump my downey headers...

Yep, word is a '95 4Runner w/5spd will be in the Thorley shop on Mon. 8/1/05 for fitment. Apparently this will take about a week to do.
I'll keep you all posted if anything changes.
