New SR5 truck interior door panels - PICS

Well, after searching for a bit over two years at the wrecker, a two door 4Runner came in this morning. Now I have cloth door panels in my Pick-Up! The secondary door handle on the passenger side can be made to be functional, but I'll save that for another day.

Those look good. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the cloth doors with the big pocket that has a speaker mount in it. I think I'll be waiting a while lol. I've only seen them in Tacos and in a turbo Toy we had at a job I used to have.

You think you''l be waiting long - I've never seen a wrecked Tacoma up here in BC ever! if I ever found one, I'd be pulling the center console very quickly and putting it in my pick-up.

Not really - the wrecker I go to has had 3 in the past two years (O.K. a bit rare) but the other two had power windows so I couldn't use them in my pick-up.

You guys go to Alpi's? I go there every now and then. Lots of 2nd gen 4runners, a few pickups, the odd TAcoma and a few 3rd gens too.

These guys are where I got my 3.4 from for my swap. They seem to have a bunch of 3rd gen 4Runners and late 90's Tacomas around. Give them a shot.

Too bad you didn't know me almost a decade ago when I was younger, dumber, and a terribly bad driver, I wrecked two of them within a year

Yup, Alpi's. The only problem is that they are only open Mon-Fri. Btw, If anyone in the Lowermaniland is looking for SR5 interior panels for an SR5 V6 pick-up with power package, they got one in only the 27th on March.

Those look good man. Just out of curiosity, what's the point of the second door handle on the passenger side? Lol, what purpose it that suppose to serve?

The panels came out of a 2 door 4Runner. The secondary handle is for the rear seat passengers.

Oh, ok, that makes sense. Why in the hell don't they do that on all extended cab trucks? Would make getting out of the back a lot easier I would think...

Hey crowley84, are those seats out of a 4runner as well, or did they come in the truck? Just curious...

I saw that the day I got my truck running. Emailed for a price...they want to sell the doors complete. $600 but you get all power options with that as well. I was thinking about it but decided it wasn't the right time. Alpi's gets everything in but they are a little pricey since they seem to have the market cornered up here.

Yeah, the seats came out of a 4Runner. Straight bolt-in. I used to have a 60/40 bench. All four holes line up on the passenger side. 3 of the 4 on the driver's line up, and the 4th (right front, next to the shifter) is hidden underneath the carpet. So now that I have buckets, passenger vanity mirror, cloth panels, maplights, full gauges... I guess my DLX is a poser SR5?!?

Hmmm now you have me even more curious about mounting bucket seats in the back of my 4runner with an aftermarket center console... only sits four then but hey it only sits four comfortably now anyways right?

not quite a poser yet. you need maplights around the rearview, a clock (dunno if you have one or not), chrome exterior mirrors, and of course the graphics to be a base SR5.
