Smile New member, 2nd gen V6 SR5. Hello!

Hi all! New to the forums here. Trolling so far has shown some good info!

On Halloween I picked up my first Toy. 1995 4runner V6 SR5 Limited... 5spd 4wheel dr. Happy so far, except for some (smeemingly common) problems. I will mention them later perhaps, but the first notable one is REAR END SAG.

Tires were mismatched when I got it, so its now on Blizzak DMZ3's. I picked up the Thule stuff too, since that was what I run on my car still. I did a cheesy yet effective repair on the rusted through fender as well. I can't find the pic..

It plays well in the snow though, for now. Any recommendations?? 170k. oil and filter changed.

No sir, I live in Indiana. The last pic is actually a Michigan trip. That snow was just packed by a snow cat. I didn't think it would be so deep!

2nd pic is from the 20" of snow we had two weeks ago. It hit us in 2 days.

Also, (from your sig) you may be interested in my interior mods (in progress lol):

Infinity reference components currently being installed. Polk Mobile Series 12" sub mostly done. All powered off a Boston Acoustics GT-50 amp.

Just for fun!!

Thanks! Purpose of the vehicle is to go to events (snowboard, mountain bike, etc) with groups, and play around off road a little. Nothing to serious. So, small lift, clean it up, add sound, make it kinda comfy... etc.

WELCOME!!!
'
Search for the ISR mod, i did it and i love it.

About the oil. I run a high mileage oil and i throw in some stuff called "engine restorer", it coats the cylinder walls and i noticed more power. Well the engine has less trouble gettign in to the power band.

All the '95 Limiteds have leather seats and door panels.

haha, I noticed! Thanks!

Finding info is why I joined... besides lookin for community.

I have some more pics of the dynamat job somewhere. I have done everything except the door panels now. Lots of fun.

Audio project is stalled, because my rear window and wiper just decided to stop working. Also, the dash light "back door" fades in and out, and it beeps intermittently and annoyingly. I tried jumpering the switches at the plugs in the rear door, and I replaced the relays on the circuit board, but it hasn't helped.

Just 'black tape it' man . When I bought my runner the PO had put a piece of black tape on the dash where the "back door" light was shinning...LOL I guess he got tired of seeing that light. Needless to say I took the black tape off but I have not gotten down to figuring out the problem yet. If you do figure it out let me know.

Mine was going the same thing a while back. Check the up and down switch in the car. The wires came loose and made it do whatever it wanted, got them back snug again and no problems since, knock on wood. I was going to do the dynomat in my truck for a while but then got rid of the system and put the money towards my lift and rear bumper, but it looks liek your doing an awesome job with it!
