New guy hesitation

Hi all, i'm new to this forum, (SORRY FOR THE SPELLING) I have a 94 extended cab pickup, 22R-e 4x4, totaly stock with 218k miles. Never had a problem till last week, I now have a hesitation that I'm pulling out whats left of my hair trying to figure out. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I have a speratic low rpm hesitation, more common when to engine is under load. I first went through the electrical system (plugs, wires, cap , roter) no help. Then the vacuum lines, no cracks, cleaned the throttle body, no help. was thinking TPS because the problem seems more commen at a specific throttle possion, but not sure . Help Other than the hesitation the truck runs great.

Had a very similar problem on my 3.0, ended up being bad gas (combined with fouled plugs and worn cap/rotor button). Poured in some water remover and filled the tank and it went away. Don't know if it applies to your situation, but it's worth a try. I used Iso-Heet, cost about $2 a bottle. You can also use 95% isopropyl alcohol.

Also, check/adjust your valves and verify your timing. These are likely not the culprit if your symptoms are sudden, but at least you can rule them out. Also, if you cleaned and adjusted the TPS, you might want to reset the ECU.
