most of that stuff is all gimmicky crap, I wouldn't put a single piece of that stuff on my rig.
K&N Filter - maybe, but it won't filter as good as the factory filter
tornado - scrap
little CTS chip - scrap
Microlon additive package - scrap
Halo spark plugs - scrap
I'm surprised he didn't throw in those magnets that clamp around the fuel line to "help break up hydrocarbon clusters" None of that will do any good, it's all hype

Sorry to inform you, but all the stuff your friend put together in his fuel saving performance package is all useless junk, with exception of the air filter. Don`t waste your money on that crap.

Tornados are crap, my school did a dyno test with them and they decreased horsepower and fuel economy, so they called the company and asked them why mileage decreased and they said that you need 3 of them right next to each other to gain mileage, so they did that and got even less power and mileage!!
The K&N works, I put one in the camry and got 3mpg repeatedly!!
The little resistor that they have to put in your IAT will make gas mileage to go down, because it makes the computer think that its -40 degrees outside richening the mixture.
And the spark plugs with make the vehicle run like crap cause of the design!

lawl... that's all I got 2 say...
you want fuel economy, get a hybrid
sure most of our pickups and runners do allright, but lets face it...
1) if it's a pickup, it's far to un-aerodynamic to get amazing fuel economy, or it's boucing down a trail or through a mud whole with your foot to the floor...
2) if it's a runner, not only are the aerodynamics pretty much the same, but you have the extra weight... and most of those can also be found boucing down a trail or through a mud whole with your foot to the floor...
either way you look at it, you can only do so much (aside from an engine swap or complete redesign) to get fuel economy out of these truck.
my 22re does decent, but I know there's a lot of people out there that get far better mileage on the same motor as me... but I also know my driving habits are part of the blame...

Man, no offense, but your friend is selling a complete crap combo meal. I know gas prices are high, and people are going to try to make money off of that fact, but geeeze...
And what the hell... There's a part of the site that's showing what the "oil/gas additive" can do with some before and after pics. The before (of course) shows the top of a cylinder head/underside of a valve cover that looks like someone was using MAPLE SYRUP instead of motor oil. Then the "after" pic looks like a brand new engine on the factory assembly line. Oddly enough, after close examination of the pictures, they're not even the same engine. That or the additive magically did away with a distributor gear...
