New exhaust setup

So i was in western auto the other day and i saw they had thrush turbo mufflers for $26. I thought to myself its worth a shot and i had it installed and it sounded just like stock. The muffler guy told me my cat was probably block with dirt and stuff so i had him remove it. I just wanted to know what u guys thought of the sound and any suggestions are welcome. here is the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twa03N2xTS4"]95 4runner SR5 with not cat and a Thrush Turbo Muffler/URL]
I also feel like motor has a little more HP. Doesn't feel held back nemore

that doesn't sound stock to me. I just bought a Dynomax turbo and it seems to flow a little better than stock and sounds a little better too. Not really louder though.

If you are running the stock exhaust manifold it won't get much deeper. The stock manifold is the most restrictive part of your setup.

It sounded stock with the new muffler and the old cat. this is what it sounds like with no cat.

i thought of getting a glasspack but i thought it would be to loud. i like this setup because i can barely here it inside the car. would hate to drive hours with noise. Not having a cat is illegal here in PR to but u just slip the inspection guy an extra $20 and i magically have a street legal truck.

UPDATE: I swear my gas mileage is way better. I made a drive to a place that used to take me a tank there and back. made the same drive today and i have a lil more than a 1/4 tank left. the guy at the muffler shop told me my cat was clogged and that i would get better mileage but damn. anyone else have an experience like this??????????

wait for it to burn in, the tone will deepen and it will get louder. they actually dont sound bad at all. my brother has one on his '86 4runner 22re and im about to put one on my '90 4runner 3vze.. unless I can hold out and get a flowmaster 80 series..

i wish i had a good camera to post mine. im running a magnaflow hi flow cat with a cherry bomb extreme muffler sounds real deep and loud. i have ran many types of glasspacks in the past and the extreme sounds way better. but for 26 bucks you cant argue with your exhaust
