He is talking about the factory clock, since that aftermarket one is working.
Im thinking the clock is bad. Since all those trucks are wired for a clock from the factory, chances are the clock itself is bad. Did you check all the fuses under the dash, as well as under the hood?

sure did. when i have the bezel off and the radio out this weekend im gonna trace the wire back and make sure its not all screwed up(the wiring is a nightmare from the PO) and check the voltage with a voltage meter.

i used to have one of those i bought at Canadian Tire for $15cdn but italo came with out side temp which was nice in mid-winter in the Canadian Rockies, but anyway, i know i used to have to fiddle with the aux. power source (turn the power thing for the clock around in the cigarette lighter hole) i think it was because of poor manufacturing.

well ive figured out what im going to do. it appears that the wire to the clock isnt getting any power, so im just gonna solder the wire to the positive and negative cords from the stereo. the clock and the stereo on the same power line i doubt is gonna be a problem, since i used to run my CB on my stereos power line also. lol. will keep you all updated. and to the guy who said 'its ugly!', go pound a nice big sandpile somewhere the sun dont shine
